Launch of the Week

Alix Partners Food Service Report 2017

This week AlixPartners, in collaboration with EP, launched the Foodservice Growth Report 2017. Now in it’s fifth year the report has grown in status and recognition and the event has become a known and welcome calendar event.

Graeme Smith, Managing Director and Tom Cox, Director from AlixPartners presented the findings with has shown that strong growth continues with M&A unlocking further growth value. However the report also argued that there are cost headwinds on the horizon.

The morning included statements made by both Martin Boden, Managing Director, Sodexo Corporate Services – UK and Chris Sheppardson, Founder, EP. Martin provided a global operator’s viewpoint and how to enhance the experience whereas Chris focused on the debate on the business model and whether there is a need to see change that will enable companies to generate greater profit margins.
