On Wednesday evening we held another Emerging Leaders Network event which was kindly hosted by the beautiful Georgian House Hotel in Pimlico.
The evening brought together a mix of business professionals, entrepreneurs, current and former professional athletes.
Adam Rowledge the General Manager of the hotel and winner of many awards within the hospitality world such as Independent Hotelier Of The Year shared his thoughts on leadership, teams, success and that the focus should always be on people.
Something which he touched on and that we think is essential to any business is trust. Adam makes sure that his team is looked after through their wellness and personal development programs which he believes builds the trust between leaders and their teams.
As part of the network we focus on what we believe will make a difference to people and gives everyone an opportunity to learn and develop themselves, personally and professionally.
The network is all about building contacts outside of their day to day lives. It brings people from different worlds together to share their own stories and knowledge which in turn grows and develops business relationships.

Every month the network comes together. This doesn’t just include the networking events and the panel discussions. We have introduced other ways to break down some of the day to day barriers and bring people together in different and exciting ways.
In April, teams will be challenging themselves and competing against one another in Tough Mudder Urban made up of work colleagues and Emerging Leaders. It forces people to step outside their comfort zones, reinforce positive attitudes, great team work and support leadership development and so much more.
In October we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the Smallest Rugby Club World Cup. This is to focus on grassroots sport and emphasise the value of bringing the sporting and business worlds together. It is also to promote and support four charities that we are proud to be involved with.
The One And All Foundation – supports the development of talent from all backgrounds. It is about giving everyone an opportunity to be able to fulfil their potential. Talent is talent.
The Royal Academy Of Culinary Arts, Adopt a School Trust – which teaches children in inner city schools about the importance of nutrition. They believe that every child should learn about food in a holistic sense and have the confidence to eat well, be healthy and happy.
Timeless Life Skills – an educational charity working in the UK and India. Helping under-served children build skills and dispositions that make them Future-Ready and Life-Ready.
Tofauti Foundation – Tofauti means ‘difference’ in Swahili. Tofauti aims to protect ecosystems, environments, people and wildlife in Africa. They don’t believe in aid, they believe in partnerships and empowering people. Aid and handouts create a continual reliance, so Tofauti aims to drive change, create tools, educate, and unite process ownership for a consistent long-term impact.
